Hey guys,
You can reference the thread below that regards these recent additions.

The 13" Rack Tom is oversized. Measuring the bare shell, it is exactly 13". Most drums are 1/4" - 1/8" shy of the actual measurement (EX: A normal 13" tom would actually measure 12 3/4" - 12 7/8"). Oddly enough, the snare and floor tom are sized normally. The bass drum is sized at 21 15/16". I know that bass drum heads fit differently. Will I run into trouble on the bass head too (with Remo)?
My Remo Coated Ambassadors won't fit this 13". I know about the Aquarian "American Vintage" heads that are oversized to fit older drums. I prefer not to use those, because I like coated white heads, and those are like a golden yellow. Also, the 13" Remo head fit inside the stick saver hoops with a little bit of room to move around. If I get a head that will fit the shell, will it be able to fit the hoop? Also, the heads that came with it were original and needed to be replaced. Both 13" heads took quite a bit coaxing to get off.
Does anyone have any suggestions about other heads that might fit? I would prefer a single ply-coated head.
Thanks,
V
