1970 fullerton

20/16/13/12 & powertone.

January 23, 1983 Rogers Drums USA produced this 6.5x14 XP10 SuperTen Snare Drum specially for Gina Schock of The Go-Go's. It is inscribed by the last Production Manager for Rogers Drums, John Cermenaro, and dated.

This past September, I attended a concert in Saratoga Ca, and was privileged to meet Gina Schock and share a few moments with her.

Clevelands with close serials. The condition - especially the chrome and the interiors are flawless on this set. Pictured with Powertone snare; I also have a matching 66 wood dyna. I love this kit.

Little Roger- 12-14-14-18

Birth Certificates say he was born in Cleveland- Probably around 1964.

He's wearing his original 18" Rogers Stamped Bass Head. With the rest of his orginal heads.

He loves his Silver Sparkle coat.

I just got these a couple of months ago from CL. I absolutely love them.

Great sounding drums. I now take them out on gigs as much as any set I have.

Also got the marcher from a CL add saying free vintage drums and refinished it.

I feel like I have no business contributing to this thread, but you guys might dig the story.

A guitar playing friend of mine gave me this kit...jeez, close to 20 years ago now. He learned to play guitar from his Dad, who was blind & played in a band with a blind drummer. When the drummer passed away, he gave the drums to my friend's Dad. When my friend's Dad passed away, he got them, along with all his Dad's equipment. Not knowing (or caring) about drums, and being the sort of a guy who values true appreciation over money. he showed them to me and said, "You want 'em?"

Now, what was I going to say?

I've gigged with this little kit probably more than any of my others...it's an absolute blast to play. Not to mention I love the look on people's faces when they say, "Is that it?"

This is it.

I've often thought about adding to it...but why?

This is the way it's always been. It worked just fine for its previous owner, why change?

If anyone know, I have had a lot of trouble finding more of these around the web. Maybe 1 or 2 kits total and they were wrapped.

Is someone hoarding the Tower drums? Or am I just not going to the correct websites??
