im surprised they would use ludwig drums weren't standerds entry level kits? my brother had a set.

Far from it.They used the same shells as the classic line, but different wraps, and cheaper hardware. They were great drums.I had a blue mist sparkle kit in 71,with a metal snare which sounded very similar to the Acrolite.

I regret selling them to this day.

To be perfectly honest, back then, I didn't care what kind of drums were used. I was too busy watching Susan Dey as Laurie! Brian

Exactly! I've been watching some reruns and still find myself looking at Laurie Partridge!

Still, the angle of the rack tom never made sense to me from a players perspective. You'd think the people in charge of setting up the drums would do a little homework on this!

For whoever wants it, the logo is at https://www.yousendit.com/download/UW15L0dJYXk3N0JsQXNUQw for the next 7 days. Take to a sign shop and they can make a die cut, stick-on "label" of it. There's usually a $20-25 minimum, which means you can probably get 2 of them to meet that.

Just be careful when applying, and do NOT let the vinyl touch itself or you'll never get it apart. You basically get one shot to get it right, or the stick-on is ruined. Which is another good reason to have two of them! :)
