Great info. Anyone know the age on this one? It's a heavy 14" I use for my main hi-hat bottom. I think I'd seen the heavier stamped edges of the logo make it 50s. It is definitely a beautiful cymbal.

This type of stamp is called a transition or trans stamp. There were a couple of slight variations. This one I believe is from the early '50s.

I am going to say that cymbal is from the 40`s. What say you Bill? And yes ,that is a awesome looking cymbal! Very nice.

Why do you think its from the '40's? The version of the trans stamp from the late '40s has marks in the interior of the Z and Co as far as I know. This example doesn't show those marks, which is why I suggested early '50s instead.
