New Drum Wrap Offerings...

From fatty

I would love to find some of the Emerald Green Pearl that Gretsch used for a year or so around 70 or 71. They are VERY rare and I'm not holding my breath for a set to come to market, even if it did I couldn't afford it. Some people say the green pearl that Precision has or used to have was it but it's not, it's nowhere turquoise enough, too green. Real Rogers Blue Onyx would be fantastic too! It's one of the nicest colrs ever but cracks like an egg for some reason it seems.

have you tried contacting drummaker.com? the pattern won't be the same since modern pearls use a smaller chip pattern, but they can probably match the color: http://www.drummaker.com/colorwraps/html/

Mainly, I was trying to see if there's enough interest to convince the

wrap manufacturer (Delmar) to consider re-issuing some of the old choices

that were once poplar. Anybody know anyone that workd at Delmar??

I'm still going to pursue reproducing Mardi Gras wrap by floating the different

shapes of glitter on a black and white background (fiesta pearl).

Sounds like if you can gaurantee a 400 sheet minimum order, you will be in business with whatever color you want.

Guaranteeing it is not the problem. The problem is paying for it... Laughing H
