Hello,
Would love to learn more about these hi-hats. Any advice about selling them? Though MIGHT keep them as a back up for my son's new set.
Thanks,
David
Any idea how best to sell? eBay?
Craigslist charges no fees, but is restricted to mostly to local coverage.
eBay will get them sold for you, but there's seller's fees and PayPal fees to contend with. But at least you get world-wide coverage, which is a big advantage.
Would it be a bad idea to polish these up?
yes let the buyer do it if they want patina is good!!!
Where did you find them, David? These are not so common. They look pretty sharp, too. Any dings?
Hi.
Sort of a fluke...they came with a starter set I bought for my son five years ago off craigslist (CB Drum set). Just upgraded his set substantially (TAMA, with an assortment of Zildjian and Sabian cymbals) and am selling his old one, but separating these cymbals, as they are special. They look to be in fine shape to me. A few stick marks that could probably be cleaned off. No dings.
by the way - the weights are 904 and 873 grams.
hi...i have a set of therse as well.
the weight you listed / would put these as Light for there size..
I agree with the eariler posting..$300max.
Most likely $200/250 locally..
Make sure to post the Lightness in the ad & @ 1948/51.
this will help you sell quicker..
Most likely a vintage Gretsch owner will come calling..lol
and for heaven sakes / dont clean.!
