Lido Tom

I picked this up on eBay - 8x12 tom.

The hoops had a few rust spots here and there but other than that the drum is in very good condition. It has what appears to be the original Lido Supreme batter head. I cleaned and tuned it today and it sounds good. If it fits on a Gretsch Rail mount I'll use it with one of my vintage kits. I love this finish....what is it??

Nice looking drum. Don't think I've seen this wrap before - trouble is, it may be next to impossible to match it for a complete kit. Definitely Star made drum - grey interior? Cool to have original head, though would you keep it on there and play it, or remove it and tuck it away, never to be heard from again?

It would be nice just to see other drums with this wrap and find out what it is but I am not looking for drums to match it - it's just a nice tom to have. If someone was looking for it to complete a kit I may be tempted to sell it.

The interior is clear. The drum sounds great with the original head and I will keep it on the drum and play it that way. I'm not a heavy hitter so it may last a long time. I do switch out heads from time-to-time but I will befinately keep this head.
