Bass Lug Help

Loading...

Hi To All,

I have another drum kit that I'm trying to repair for one of our local schools and hope someone in this great forum may be able to help. The kit appears to be a MIJ kit in a very nice Blue/Black swirl .There are no badges but it has made in Japan on several of the hardware parts. It has been up in the schools rafters for the last 25 years and was very used before that. I'm trying to get it fixed for an extra practice set for them but have a problem with the bass drum.

Its in fairly good shape but missing 3 of the lugs on the bass drum.(please see pictures) The hole pattern is 2 and 3/8 between centers. Does anyone out there have 3 lugs of this style that they would be willing to part with very reasonably? I believe I could even use one that are a different style I believe as long as the hole pattern matches and put them on the bottom, is that correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The instruments we have restored have all seen a lot of use from the students. These are all done at no cost but it's worth all the time and effort to see what an impact these instruments make!

Thanks in advance to all!

Yes i have the lugs. The lugs you post are off a Pearl made set from the late 60's..Your set would have had sticker badges on it a one time hard to give you a name because Pearl used some many names on these set's...Mikey
