This is my first resto so wish me luck.

I believe it says 1957.
Here's the badge.

One of the first things you will notice is that it has the wrong strainer on it.
The shell is 14" x 5.5".
I believe it to be a "Classic" snare, or a "Super Classic" whatever.
If anyone has any thoughts on that please chime in. :)
So,
If this is a "Classic" snare wouldn't it have a throw like this?

If it's not a "super classic" what kind of throw would it have had?
P83? :/
I've been playing the drums for 25 years but I'm just getting in vintage so I'm learning right now.
The shell is cleaning up pretty well.
Here are the holes in the shell from the og and newer strainer.

The hole on the top obviously was the one added for the newer strainer.
The bottom 2 holes are obviously from the og strainer.
I can see the imprint from the og.
So, what do you guys think?
Would it have been the "Classic" throw or like a p83 type of throw?
I will be working on this for a while.
I am in the process of polishing the lugs up.
So far the couple that I have done look pretty good.
