Here's a Slingerland Jet kit in champagne sparkle w/matching Radio King snare I saw on eBay for the vintage enthusiasts. Not looking to buy it but just to share if anyone were interested. Only eye candy for me.

Looks as though the bass drum doesn't match the other toms...Not a Radioking but a 3-ply Artist snare...

Hard to tell, he didn't picture all the badge #'s.....

How can you tell it's an Artist 3-ply ? Is it the fact that the Strainer's a Zoomatic ?

Is the seller assuming that because the interior ply is maple...it's a one-ply ?

Cool kit, great bop sizes and really looks to be in cherry condition, too.

But...even if it were an RK snare...I dunno if any kit is worth $4g, IMHO....

The price does seem steep, especially nowadays with our lovely economy.

Great looking kit - I thought that Kent were the only ones who had the crazy metal hoops (like a giant tom) on their kicks. Cool!

It's a RK alright, the one picture has a close up of the shell and it is definitely single ply maple.

Can I ask a stupid Q....?

How can you tell from the pic it's a 1-ply RK ? Couldn't it be a 3-ply with an interior ply of maple ?

Just asking for my own info....

Don Bennet is the seller...he knows his stuff, so it surprised me that he would make a mistake on the snare...
