I'm starting to fix an old Gretsch kit and have to glue some seam lift. What product should I use?

I've always used the same contact cement that I used when I was re-wrapping a drum. 3M Fasbond water based contact adhesive. Works well and cleans up easy when wet. When it dries, you can use a rag to "wipe" away the excess glue....there is some rubbing involved, but it does come off easily....kind of like, well to be blunt, rolling up snot....lol! I know, sorry guys, but it is kind of what it looks like when you do it....Walking

I also like the 3M contact cement for seams, but to avoid having to remove the dried up "snot" from the wrap, just cover the exposed wrap at the seams with painters tape. Any cement overflow spills onto the tape, rather than the wrap, making for an easy cleanup. The tape also protects the wrap from the clamping that's necessary.

Does this 3M GLUE come in a small tube? I need to glue the seam on my Rogers floor tom. I have been useing straps with wood shims to hold down the seams in the middle of the drum. My clamps wont reach in that far. Any other more simple ideas that may work for me?

The smallest size I've ever seen it come in was a pint bottle.
