Question about a tom holder! Yamaha??

Loading...

This came with a set of modified Rogers drums I got where the swivo-mount was swapped out for the boxier looking Yamaha style mount. There are no markings on it but it is a really beefy piece of hardware. Just wonereing who made the damn thing so I can sell it.

Thanks in advance!

Derek

It looks to be Yamaha, But I think Remo had something similar on some of their drums.

To me it looks like a copy of the Yamaha mount. If it was a Yamaha the wings nuts would have "Yamaha" on them.,,,Mikey

That's an early Yamaha mount made of steel! It proved to be too costly and shortly after they started making the top section with pot metal which are prone to breaking over the years. The wing screws are not original to that mount as far as I know. Those are a rare find and any Yamaha user would love to have one of those versus the later cheaper version.
