My son has been trying to buy a cymbal from Matt as RareVintageCymbals.com for a few weeks and so far has gotten no response to any of the several emails he sent. Does anyone have any ideas? Is he away? Out of business? There also doesn't seem to be any changes in his inventory in the last few weeks. I don't know if we're wasting our time.
No response from Matt at VintageCymbals.com

He's notoriosly bad at replying to inquiries. Keep on him.

Why not call instead? if i ever want a urgent answer instead of waiting for emails i call.BUT it,s different as i,m in another country with different time zones! :(.If it makes you feel any better i replied to a online job advertisement for a Texas bearing company nearly a month ago NO answer NO call or email! :(.
Agreed with Drumaholic that Matt is wicked hard to get ahold of.
Mark, another option you might try is to contact Matt via one of his eBay auctions. I know he has a cymbal there now, perhaps using the Contact Seller feature might get a response.
It's well worth the wait... once you get in touch with him he's a cool dude!
Cheers,
Ryan

I would have done that before posting here, but we can't find a phone number on the website.

Well, it 10 days later, with another email sent to him and he still hasn't responded. Its been a almost a month since our first email was sent. Strange way to run a business.

Sorry. I'm not running a business.
Busy making cymbals.
I try to get back to people, but I often fail.

I like it! Sounds like he makes cymbals, enjoys it, and sells them when he gets the urge. No hussle-bussle, no customer service type b.s. to deal with, which ultimately = all the fun of it remains solidly intact!
Kudos to you Matt!
