Faded WMP Wrap

Loading...

I'm looking for a modern wrap that looks like a faded white pearl wrap. I came across Continental pearl a year or so ago, but companies stopped carrying it because it shrinks slightly (like older wraps) and amateurs applying didn't know how to handle it. Delmar still makes, but it's a 400 sheet minimum. Antique white pearl is great (more yellow), but the chips are smaller than 60's era kits. Does anyone know where I can get a yellowish, large chip pattern amp wrap for a kit?

I'm in the same boat. More than likely I'll be using the antique white pearl from DrumMaker. But will look forward to any replys on this one too.

You can choose a white pearl from Drummaker and have them colorize it for you with their colorwraps process.

Drummaker doesn't send samples. They have the most abominable business ethic. Precision offers the same antique white pearl, and their business dealings are so superb, I would spend more just to deal with them. Either way, however, the awp wrap has the smaller chip pattern. I saw one bad pic of continental pearl from Cherie willoughboy's junk and it made me hesitate. I wish someone would bring back continental pearl. Delmar still makes it!

When you talk about samples, do you mean the custom color wraps? If so, I am not entirely sure how they would accommodate sending samples. It would cost a fortune and if that was a prerequisite for creating this product, i doubt the product would exist. Andy does have some sheets printed up with their standard spectrum colors which are basically the real version of the images on his site. I don't know if he sends those out, but if he did, the sample size is pretty small.

My only dealings with him have been at his brick and mortar store and he has been top notch. Very nice guy and very knowledgable.

He said he had samples of some stock wrap and kept me waiting for months. When I contacted, he made apologies and excuses. In this day and age, that business dealing is not tolerable. It's not even the color that I'm after as much as that larger chip size. That's more important. The colors vary so much over the years.
