For all you MIJ enthusiasts,
I saw this on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/180946438387?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649) and was wondering if it actually was made by/for Pearl? Seems kind of a stretch as I've never seen a lunchbox from a drum manufacturer before.

It's actually a carrying case made for Neil Peart. It was made to carry about 500 of the smaller parts ,of his 2000 piece drum kit, between gigs.
havent seen one of those before. has a great look to it i think. neat item!

In the orient , Pearl is about as fine a name as can be given to anything. It is basically their version of our term "Gem" or "Gewel". A pearl, hidden in the recesses of an old Oyster was /is about as fine a surprise as you could find.
This little container was named to show , what a wonderful and handy little device it is.----nothing to do with drums. The script isn't even the same as any I have seen for the drum company.
And yet, it's not bad addition to any 'Pearl' green pearl wrapped set... :)

Thanks for all the replies. I kind of figured it wasn't related to pearl drums but being a fan of green sparkle I also liked to look of the green pearl on the lunch box. If I find a kit in a wrap that is close I'll have to jump on it.
