La la land
I like the statement " where's the fun in a vintage drum kit that doesn't need repairs"
Not sure what a Dyna-max is, but it does appear to be a 60s Pearl that has been painted (all the hardware) and a probable re-wrap.
battleship lugs and the correct matching snare (lugs). The current value of the AU$ and the US$ is pretty close - so yeah - indeed they are pricing in outer space, but it appears that the drum kit is an actual older Pearl - more like an early 70s according to those lugs.

John, "Dyna-Max" was a line of hardwear that Remo came out with in the mid 80's.They had a hi-hat that was a copy of the "Orange" made france one...Dyna-max hardwear was made by Pearl for Remo.....Mikey
Hope the "rewrap" was done with more attention to detail... than was the Badge/Logo refit on the snare...
Cheers

Selling a vintage drumkit with 'personalized' issues is difficult always. That price is much too high - unless he finds that one person who shares his taste (definitely not me!) and has a pocket full of money.
