We all love Fantasia Pearl import kits! Here's a beauty up for sale on eBay. Maybe one of you will purchase it?!!!
Complete Fantasia Pearl kit on eBay!
I spoke with the seller this morning. Trying to keep on the down low is gone now.DOH
Looking for a late 80's to early 90's, preferably Arctic White Pearl MLX 14x14 floor tom.
I'm really curious as to his reserve price!
This set has been up for auction before. Months ago there was "buy it now" option. I believe it was around the $1,200.00 mark. The wrap IS very cool but, for that much money...

Hi Salty! Thanks for letting me know that. As is the case, many times, sellers will put a reserve strictly on the rare color (outer appearance) but never take into account how these drums were actually built (inner).
As nice as this kit looks, we need to keep in mind that it's still an MIJ 60's kit.

You are absolutely right, sir! The adage, "You can't judge a book by its cover" holds true with drums as well. Take care.

The only way this kit could ever be worth that is if Charlie Watts used it to record Gimme Shelter and it was signed by all of the Stones, plus John Bonham stopped by the studio and signed it for good measure. Otherwise it is a well cared for MIJ in an interesting wrap, but still just an MIJ.
Very proud owner of a new Blaemire Snare 6.5 x 14 made by Jerry Jenkins "Drumjinx"
Well. You can have the drums AND a trip to Germany for less. No shipping on these. They may not sell, therefore. http://www.ebay.de/itm/Altes-Schlagzeug-Royal-Star-Luxor-Made-in-Japan-KEIN-VERSAND-NUR-ABHOLUNG-/221071625449?pt=Drums_Percussion&hash=item3378e54ce9
Luxor was a German musical instrument broker. At one time they had Tromsa build drums for them and then went through a few oriental suppliers.
Man, you are so right, sir! These drums are pretty but, for the money, I don't think so! Please, an honest price for some good ol' MIJ drums!
