Can anyone tell me by the badge on these particular drums approximately what year they might have been manufactured? Thanks!

Hey now! What do the shells look like? Are they 9 ply luaun or maple lined (interior) luaun? They look, to me, to be early-to mid-80s.

I don't know, Jonni, since I haven't seen them yet. The current owner claims they're from the '60s though. He's asking $50 for the two toms and the matching bass drum.

Well, they are not 60s. They are a Pearl product, though. For fiddy, they are certainly worth a look. They could be mid-late 70s, but the tags say otherwise.

No, not from the sixties - mid-eighties,

No, not a Pearl product - Hoshino Koyogou. Some of the last of the line.

Very likely Luan with Maple interior - I have a set of 8 and 10" with the same badges and Beavertail-copy lugs that are made that way. Actually very nice shells.

I will defer to Jon's experience...
