Lemons?

From tnsquint

At 49 I feel like a kid here. Of course, I am over 230 years old in road years.

When I first read it, I thought you were going to say you were 230 in 'dog years!' Which, for old hounds like us, is a much more appropriate appellation.

"Road years" and "Dog years" are pretty much the same thing. A year on the road is a little like seven years of a normal life. Your comment about not feeling old is very apropos. When I think back to my younger days and remember my parents and their friends, they always seemed old to me. Now I realize they were much younger than I am now when I thought they were old.

I was out on the road the other day with one of my crews and we were all sitting around eating at the "Safe House" in Milwaukee. (if your ever in MKE, check it out; it is a blast) We were all sitting around the table laughing and talking and at some point I realized, a.) the next oldest guy at the table was 16 years younger than me, and b.) I have swag that is older than most of them. Hmmm....

Oh, and I'll try lemons on my current project when I get to that point. I'll let you know how it comes out.
