Shouldn't we try to be a little more civil even though some here strongly disagree with Lee's tactics?
I fail to see anything uncivil about the post(s) in this thread!?
I agree...there have been more than a few folks who have not had favorable dealings with Jonas, this stuff is 15-20 yrs. old and way before these drum forums were around so I say let the venting happen, conversely, let any positive dealings surface too.

Jonas is a musical equipment dealer that has gotten a very bad reputation over the years...I have never dealt with him but "Gaile" (sp so as to get the name out) did buy a few items from me in the last few years...not sure if Jonas/"Gaile" are the same or in business together or whatever...Mike Curotto
She, "***le"bought an Al. shelled Ludwig Standard snare drum and a Camco 6ply Jasper shelled Tenor Tom from me before I knew of and had blocked all of their buyer accounts and instead of going through with the transaction, I refunded her money and sent both drums to a fellow forum member. Free! He had recently put together a Camco drumset and was blown away at how really good they sound. I was really happy to hear how much he appreciated them...he even went so far as starting a post on the Al. Standard snare which I'am sure renewed the interest in the way under rated drum. That's what I did anyway...
Well, I'll assume Jonas is ***ish ... maybe I'm wrong but when you call a *** "Judas" that's a little iffy in my book.
Ban him, block him, avoid him, but when you sink to his so-called level don't you become a little bit like him? What I like about this forum is the overall positive nature. It is nice to learn about crappy tactics like Lees so I can do my best to avoid that outfit, because I'm one who tries to preserve vintage drums rather than strip them down even when I know that doing so will fetch more cash.

I'm missing something here but i think that's a bit of a stretch....As an observer, I wasn't thinking anything along those lines and didn't link the word Judas to anything else except being traitor..at least that how I interpreted it.
Forget I said anything. I'll stop reading this & that will solve everything. I have a suggestion though : perhaps this should be a STICKY thingy as a sort of FYI to the wider Universe of vintage drum junkies.
Best to all - Chris

And that's all I was intending; Vintage Drum Traitor (not Trader). Play on names. Sorry if it struck any as offensive.

***le contacted me this morning wanting a package deal on all 15 items I have on Ebay. She contacted me under the ID of theolddrumshop. Thanks to everyone who posted the multiple user IDs that they use, I will not be selling to them. I would rather keep my stuff than see it stripped on Ebay for parts. Again, many thanks for starting this thread.
^^ebay I'd? You might have something I want.:D
