I have bought from them one time only , and i was not impressed.

I was in need of a fairly comon part , and they had a few to chose from on ebay , so i with the best and his most expensive one just to get the job done right the first time , What i go was his worst and cheapest listed one that i had zero use for . My recomendation with Sleezy county is before you buy take your hard earend money and throw it in the garbage , the results are going to be the same once you get your part.

I have sold many items to her. Payment was made from Ga yle. I think theres more than 1 party involved here as the drumpartscounter also uses the red paisley material, but is located in New Hampshire. All those Rogers Pacific blue shells are mine. Ive been looking at those stripped shells now for over a year. It was sad to see the stuff I spent time restoring end up like that, but nobody else wanted them. Nobody still doesnt want them. lol

Don't care for these cats either ... although it is a business so why the surprise? I'd recommend blocking them as a buyer on ebay & to thwart their evil empire. Obviously its a volume thing, but did notice, besides the hot babes, that not many sales in closed listings.

Most of us on VDF are drum junkies who care more for retaining the integrity of vintage equipment than cashing in by piecing out. Bet lee's never set foot here -

They have an early 80's DW maple snare priced at $749.00 which they purchased off eBAY for just a shade over $300.00, which is what they go for.

And they raised the price of the Spizz copper BOP kit from $10K to $24K+.

My ebay Saved Search includes:

-leecountymusic -thedrumpartscounter

It appears their system is completely automated. Items that don't sell get automatically relisted for the same Buy It Now price immediately after the auctions closes.

I have been watching a Gretsch 4157 shell with badge for the past couple of months. Same price every time. You would think they would move more stock if they started to reduce the prices gradually or sell more complete items.

By the looks of the operation, someone has done an extensive pricing study and came to the conclusion that literally stripping drums down to the bare shell (even removing the wrap) and parting out the pieces at a constantly high price actually generates a profit over time.

I am sure they even use sniping software with multiple ebay accounts to outbid regular players and collectors.

There is nothing against the law with what their doing, it's just disappointing. :( Looks like they are even starting to deal in guitars now.

Maybe they would get more for it, if they part it out. :D
