Yer there is just nothing around and if there is, the price is just so inflated. I have found some pearl president toms, 12, 13 and 16 ft on eBay. So fingers crossed again.

i seen the yamaha kit in Radelaide, i was trying to ring a mate to organise for him to get it. i couldnt get a hold of him and when i did and he was cool with it...the kit was gone! i didnt see the other kit until now. that is one nice looking kit and the first time i have seen it. the little yamaha, i am still pi$$ed about missing that one!...

My policy is to shoot first, ask questions later. In other words, buy it and work out the logistics later. There's usually a way.

Just hold out and wait for something good at the right price and go for it. I don't think those Presidents look that promising - no BD, no wrap, 80's tom hardware fitted, nothing special. There's a deal for you just around the corner, I'm sure.
