Sweet! I had taken a pic of that kit at the show. Congrats on your purchase!

Olimpass, that picture is way better than mine - you got Marty Monson in the picture too! Thanks,

Can anyone, please, kindly give me a price indication of that kit, when exhibited at the show (guess that member MikeJtone is not willing to tell the truth :) )?

@ MikeJtone: will you keep the kit in it's actual status or do you intend to polish it up?

Ralf

NB: oh - I forgot: this is a beautiful and cool thing!

I would be interested to know which star's autograph are on there.

Were there sport's star's? Actors? Musicians? Politicians?

Thanks! Larry I do feel like a lucky dog!

To update on a question as far as leaving / cleaning it up - I did lightly clean the bass drum shell & the hardware by hand, the rest of the set I left alone. It is a cool piece of drum history & a cool set, that big bass drum & the snare really are great pieces that could be played at a gig, but I think that the toms would not work very well - flat sounding. The snare has a wide open woody sound, very cool, with the original Leedy snare wires and snare side head too!

I am glad & thankful that I got it, now what?

Thanks again,

Mike

Leedy endorsers, and they had different autographs depending on which year kit you bought.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Hi Mike,

When I saw you set over the weekend I was speachless, honest !!!

It blew me away, I never thought I would ever see an Autograph set.

It was worth coming 3.000 miles just to see it.

Many many congratulations on THE BEST SET AT THE SHOW, EVER bar none.

A stunning vintage "true rarety" wow.

DAve it was good to see you again my friend, that is a true lover of vintage drums to travel 3,000 miles for the Chicago Drum show! We will have to have a beer next time! And thanks!

Mike

Vibes I can tell you that I found Sonny Greer's signature among them on 3 of the drums, but if you can tell me the names of some other famous Leedy endorsers I can look for their signatures, that would be kind of fun.
