Hello there - I think it's a bit of a hybrid you have got hold of. The bottom hoop is indeed from a Premier Dominion Super. The top hoop looks like it was made a little later, and not as high quality. I have no idea what the lugs are - but someone out there knows! With that crescent-shape and the little horizontal line detail, they look very cool indeed! Re-post the 'lugs' pic with an appropriate comment and you'll no doubt get a reply quickly enough, as per an unbadged snappy little MIJ piccolo that came with a brass Dominion, which brings us on to.... I have a couple of posts about some Premier Dominions I've been lucky enough to find, containing my adventures in their on-going restoration. They too have no 'badges' as such - just the stamped hoops as per your drum. I hope you enjoy bringing it back to life - I definitely would enjoy the task! Good luck!

I am not one hundred percent sure, but it looks like a Beverley snare made shortly after the sale of the company to Della Porta. The shell looks to be Premier( which would fit with my theory) and the lugs look to be the early Beverley lugs , sold by Premier, on Beverley drums.

Hi Phil..thanks for that mate...yeah early Beverley could fit the bill..and yeah come to think of it the lugs do look beverley..definately an old one (1950's)and i picked it up for only £40..

Showboy..yeah thanks the hoops are different so need to get the matching one now for the top hoop..the bottom is a premier dominion super off the 30's snare..so will probably sell it some time on flee bay mate as would make the perfect finishing touch for someone who owns the 30's snare!
