Wow.. both nice but the trans-stamp 20 looks awesome. They priced it a "fishing" price for a 60s cymbal, too, meaning they priced it high for what they thought it was.

Yes. Little did he know.

Somebody once accused me of "fishing" when I sold that 24" K. intermediate. I guess he didn't think the price was not realistic.

But just a few hours after I put it up, I caught me a whopper.

i almost pulled the trigger on this one tonight. appeared to be a trans stamp to these tired eyes. pretty good price .but weight would have been nice to know...

Yeah, definitely a trans stamp. Looks like an early '50s one that I have. For $60? Wow.

You can bet it was quite thin. For hi-hats I've never seen anything other than very thin from that era. Sometimes almost too thin for my taste.

I know the two pair of '50s A hats are both very thin. The bottom cymbals are thin, the top cymbals are thinner.
