Yeah, yeah.I know we had a disagreement lately, but to judge somebody this way in public, says probably more about you than about me.I know a lot about old Sonor drums and less of other brands and that's fine with me, however, i was familiar with the names of Trowa and Tromsa before you told me, believe me.And yes i learned from you about these 2 brands but to write down a statementlike this: doesn't make sence at all.Oh..... and i'm interested in the history of these 2 German brands, but i've enough research to do about the whereabouts of Sonor and leave the more specific things about all those other brands to other collectors as you, who serve the public with their knowledge. And last but not least, i didn't changed the name in the picture file into Trowa at the time, because the link to several online boards would be broken. So that is a deliberately decision, but maybe i will change it in the future.Wkr, Henk

not a disagreement , Henk-----you owe me some parts for the drums I paid you for; you just don't want to send them because you will have to pay the shipping.--- as far as the dissing in this forum. it was to clarify to oddball, that I was not attacking him but warning another member. for me; you have a good track record when selling through ebay , where you are to some degree forced to have accountability but in direct sales, where you are relied on to be straight up and accountable on your own, that appears to be another matter. just take this as a form of feedback.

and you consistently list drums as other than what they are.

you have about 7 posts here and there are other forums, you use sparingly as well. why don't you take the opportunity to ask some questions about what you are selling. --that ancient " Trixon" floor tom, you sold wasn't a Standtom it was a Standing Joke. apparently, one can just put a piece of hardware on a drum with a cast logo on it and all of a sudden it becomes that brand, does it? clearly , Henk , your heart lies in sales, not knowledge.

The imperial lug imprint from the OP snare is 6.4 cm, the distance from center hole to center hole is 5.3cm so it is not the Sonor Imperial, nor the Ludwig. (thanks, hemelsoet for the measurements.)

To Calfskin:

This forum is not the place a argue between people, so this is the last thing i have to say about this “case” and will than go back to the essence,....talk about Sonor drums.

You must be really "clairvoyant" to know what direkt sales i make with other buyers/sellers and how they expire and also must be a shrink and detective to know all this “stuff” about me....very cool.

I guess you mean the Sonor Extra. Those are the same kind of lugs, but the Sonor Extra had a "double strainer".

The imperial lug imprint from the OP snare is 6.4 cm, the distance from center hole to center hole is 5.3cm so it is not the Sonor Imperial, nor the Ludwig. (thanks, hemelsoet for the measurements.)

That 5,3 cm. fits, but the 6.3 cm. is to much,(The Sonor lug is exact 6 cm).

even if the print of that lug isn't really sharp. One other (little) possibillity is that they maybe used another or new mold to make these lugs.

There are not many Sonor drums left with these lugs, so production shouldn't be that high. I don't know how many lugs you could produce before having the mold replaced. Interesting question though.

Yessiree! I also know that you won't rip anyone off on this forum, now. Go, right ahead and help with the Sonor "stuff".----and enough said.-----oh, by the way, Henk; I have a favour to ask. I have this really cool Tromsa, green pearl drum kit ---3 piece--- bass , rack and floor tom but I am missing a spur and the tom arm(and you know how hard those are to find)----sometimes people sell kits without them , so they can keep them to fill out another kit, or as a prop, so they can photograph future kits, they have to sell , you know---- to make them look more attractive; to a prospective buyer. It's kind of a Ruse but some people are like that----what can I say. You wouldn't know where I can get one do you?

A little over a year ago this mystery Sonor appeared here, I recognized the throw off and knew that member Henk would know of this drum.

Long story short, He got it, and now it once again LIVES !i This guy does amazing Sonor restoration, but even I thought it was just a parts drum.

Anyway for those that remember, see it, Alive and Kick`n !i
