I sent PrecissionDrum an email mentioning the inlay is too narrow but explaining it's not their fault but my measurement mistake and if they could cut me some more please. I received a nice email from Gary at PD and he said no problem they would send some more out no charge but if I would just pay the postage.

Now THAT is great customer service!! Gives props to the idea that "honesty IS the best policy!" I can assure you this: I will remember this when I'm making future purchase decisions...

I know this is an old post, but it's always great to hear about great customer service from a shop like Precision Drum. Regarding the inlay groove size on Gretsch Drums, I've always know it to be 13/16" and have had 3 sets cut for me at Precision by Gary over the years.
