Here's one, redrawn for Trout - still need measurements for final.... and HOSHINO

Hey mate - sent you an email - been off line for a few days. That just looks fantastic. I'm very excited, since this is the only thing I need to finish the kit. Please let me know how I can help. Excellent!

PS the logo is 11.5 cm or a tad over 4.5 inches across the top (the widest points of the top part)

Hey Matthias; I've been following your thread on, and off - a lot of reading there, and you still haven't nailed down the make of that kit yet??? Told you man, some of these suckers are hard to call. I have a nice little, Club Date style MIJ kit that had badges glued to it at one time, but had vanished before I got it. Left a nasty brown, oval shaped residue that would not come off. I ended up making my own, custom badges for it, incorporating a Logo I designed of my initials and it turned out pretty cool. Have it tucked away behind some other kits at the moment, and have no pics yet, but eventually I'll get my own logo head on that one and take some pics. I should come up with a generic, all purpose MIJ logo though, I like that idea. Cool1

Okay, that got me inspired. How's this for a generic MIJ logo? Suggestions? Prefer straight, or angled?

Thanks for responses guys - @ fishwaltz - I have Star, and Star inside the star graphic, figuring that should cover it unless there is a real, specific demand. Could use vintage Pearl though, yes!

Here's the 'Royal Star' anyway, and the 'Pearl'. I have a MUCH higher resolution picture available for the 'Royal Star'. The 'Pearl' I can get you next week, since the kit is for sale (it's mine) at a local drum shop.

I may have a few others also... Camco by Tama comes to mind. Maybe more. I saved all the old logo heads I could find normally.

Thanks fishwaltz. Higher resolution is always better for what I'm doing, and yes, any other suggestions and submissions are always appreciated. May even extend the selection after this first run, depending on final costs and results. Okay, maybe some feedback would be helpful here - were I to do the Royal Star, just wondering if I should base it on my refined version, (from Star badge script) or perhaps keep it more authentic, with the less refined letterforms that seem to have been used originally? Would result in a more authentic to original head version of logo, (appears to me that it may have been modeled after actual Royal Star badge letterforms) - any opinions form Star/Royal Star people out there?

Okay guys; Trying to get these things ready for print. Had some real work to do this weekend, so I'm a little behind schedule, but I'm hoping to get some feedback on size/proportion of logos with respect to head dimensions. These are all based on 20" heads, with exception of Coronet which is 22". Will post each one here, and if anyone sees anything that doesn't look right, I'd appreciate some feedback. I've generally tried to keep these as large as I feel will work - I figure if you're gonna go to the trouble and expense to do this , you might as well make it worth your while. As was discussed in another thread over the weekend, I'm uploading these directly to the site this time, as is the preferred method.
