Looking for a 60's MIJ Rogers R360 Tom mount

Loading...

I have a Double Soul R360 kit circa '69 that didn't have the 13" Tom when I bought it. I have since found a right era 13" Tom, but the shell is missing the proprietary mounting plate, which is diamond shaped, and has a slit in it that slides over a little flat plate on the end of a pipe that sticks out of the kick drum. You literally just drop the drop the Tom in place to set up and lift it off to tear down.

Does anyone have one of these old Tom mounting plates?

Thanks,

Michael

PS, I am new to the forum, an am posting from my phone. Let me know if a pic would be handy and I'll try to do that from my desktop. Thx!

OK, here are 2 pics of the R380 12' tom I have:

Here are pics of the R360 12" and the 13" that I need mounts for (The mount holes appears to 3 1/4" apart vertically, and 4 3/16" apart horizontally):

And here are the mount ends on the post on the R360 kick:

So, I need 2 of the tom mount plates that attach to the drum itself. If you have one of the other parts: the little paddle that attaches to the post coming out of the kick drum that the mounting plate slips over - I'd love one of those too. One of mine is broken. I can probably have someone around here weld it, but if you have one that seems easier.

My black kit is an R380, and this new oyster wrap kit is an R360. Both appear to be from the same vintage, which should have been around 1969, as far as I can tell. The R360 bass drum tom mount post is a little different looking from the one on my R380, but it's the same basic concept, and all the actual drum mounts appear to be the same.

What kind of money are we talking about?

Thanks so much for your help!
