that's a healthy opening bid considering the condition and the extra and enlarged holes. They are good kits as you know and the colour appeals to many, although not all. I really like the colour. A similar kit (same colour but 20, 13, 16) sold in England a couple of weeks ago for over 500 quid or around $850

From alot2008

my blue willow 67's do'nt have reinforcing rings as the seller describes?

Mine neither. Maybe the earliest ones had them? The orange kit i just finished is a later model with the same shells and lugs as my red thunder kit so maybe there was a transition period? Who knows.

I have the same kit. Play it all the time on jazz gigs.... no re-rings on mine. I always get great comments on the wrap. Too many holes in the one on the bay to make it worth bidding. Id wait for something better to come along... they always do....eventually.

...oh, and I love the orange one Fayray. My friend just found a snare in that wrap with original heads and snares. Its real nice to see in person. Yamaha did have some cool wraps.

Thanks. I already had a 13" tom in this finish and then this kit showed up. Must have sold a few over here in the day. This kit had all the original hardware and cymbals (cr@ppy) and was just like the day it was bought from the music store except really dirty and some poor chrome. It needed lots of cleaning. I sold that one just last week as I like the Red one even more. It got pretty good $$ compared to most other 40yo MIJ kits but they are of a higher quality too. And people love the wraps.
