WOW! That kit looks faaaaaantastic!!!!Clapping Happy2
Congrats, to this nice baby-blue kit (and an excellent location to take the pics, too)! Can confirm that Camco is extremely rare in Europe (never seen one blip up in Germany so far).
Also a great story to the restauration process.

Thanks Ralf,
I checked the different countries and they're maybe 3 Ebay listings for vintage Camco in entire Western Europe and that's for nuts and bolts. Ebay is often a good indicator so yes they must be rare. I mentioned the kit to a local ex drum shop owner who did lots of vintage stuff and in the past 20 years he came across only a handful.
This particular kit was advertised on a local site, something like Craig's list in US. I spotted it the 4th day it was listed and I was the first caller. Unfortunately the owner knew he had something special so I didn't get it cheap - cheap. In all, I think I paid a good price considering the excellent shape it is in and the snare that was included.
Just a pity that the owner wasn't able to give me the history on this drum kit.
Very cool kit. Looks pristine in the photos. . . James
