Dave, those are pretty sweet. I like the red stripes. Is that how you received the set as they look fantastic? Yes I'm still on the lookout for Trixon hardware (aaarrrgh). That stuff is like hens teeth. When you do find it either the seller won't ship to Canada or it goes for some ungodly amount of money. All I can do is be patient. I thought I had a snare, but it turned out to be red sparkle.Love your collection. Take care.Dean

I bought the red stripe but needed to use a lot of elbow greae to clean them up, bought trixon badges, bought 2 bass drum legs but thats it so well happy as i now know that the red stripe is a desirable wrap and pretty rare too! Did you read the story on how i got the kit? I put it under Calfskins post..

Dean . what snare are you looking for?------Dave; terrific kit. Are those shells the old Beech 3 ply metric ones or the transitional Birch, inch sized ones?Those were all stamped 63 on the inside.

Hi Phil, glad you like the kit mate, still cannot believe what a great deal i got and with the cases too!! Yep they are the old Beech 3 ply metric ones but no stamp inside..still looking for the elusive cymbal arm !

Which one? The teardrop lug or the tank lug? I don't have one but I come across snares every now and then. Grey stripe of course is uncommon. I have a couple, needing wrapping-----they have been stripped down to the wood but all the parts are there.
