At last..finally got round to taking a picture of my Set of drum cases-bass drum. floor and rack tom..Never seen any before so believe them to be original..
Have any members seen any before?

Wow those are cool. I have never seen any cases with Trixon on them. Either those are original or someone went to great lengths to produce a Trixon stencil to paint the logo on. I bet Ingo would know. So do you actually use your drums for gigging? I would be terrified of them getting damaged.

I think I saw those on ebay, about 10 months ago or so? ---pretty sure they are original. I have a set as well, but the Trixon is a sticker. They are from about 1964----came with a 1964 kit.

Diamond,Yes years ago at Drum City in Hollywood,ca had many of these Trixon cases..They looked the same as your's..They are original trixon cases you have...Mikey...P/S did you get my email last week with the photos of the Trixon parts?

Sent the drum case picture to Ingo and he hadnt seen this style before but really liked them.

Heres the story....I got a call from a drum shop to ask if i was still looking for trixon kits as he had just got one in as a part exchange on a new kit, i said as i always do...never say no to a Trixon Kit, how much you looking for? He said £100 quick sale but it needs work. Went down to find a 63 teardrop in rare red stripe. Snapped his arm off and said i'll have them for £100 and as i paid him he said do you want the cases it came in with? I said no not really i've got lots of spare cases but then he said they are included in the price so you might aswell have them...i said ok then bring them up. I nearly passed out when he came up the stairs with these 3 Trixon Cases saying here ya go Dave these are yours....i walked out of the shop in a daze and could not believe how lucky i had been and it felt like i had won the drum lottery!!

Dave, those are pretty sweet. I like the red stripes. Is that how you received the set as they look fantastic? Yes I'm still on the lookout for Trixon hardware (aaarrrgh). That stuff is like hens teeth. When you do find it either the seller won't ship to Canada or it goes for some ungodly amount of money. All I can do is be patient. I thought I had a snare, but it turned out to be red sparkle.

Dean . what snare are you looking for?------Dave; terrific kit. Are those shells the old Beech 3 ply metric ones or the transitional Birch, inch sized ones?Those were all stamped 63 on the inside.
