I thought those big rides were made for the be bop era around the late 40's-50's I play a 28" Zildjian from that era w/ a transition stamp,(i.e. strongly stamped Z, & Co. c.1940-1950's). I'm surprised to see a cymbal so big, as late as the 70's, (the stamp is certainly different than mine).

I went back and checked which cymbal that was a picture of and it turned out to be one of my 15" hi hat cymbals which I'm pretty sure are New Beats given the weights (1314 grams/1172 grams). Unless you think they made something like that in the 50s, I'm pretty sure they are early to mid 70s.

It could be. If the hammering is on the top then it is from the 70's.
