Thanks for that Phil..are there any info on the web about these?? also i am thinking are they quite rare?? its in really good condition and the badge also so really pleased i mananged to get it mate...something different from the usual Trixons !!Cool1
there's one here http://ukdrums.weebly.com/olympic-1937-79.html but it is from a little later. has the outward flange-----so-called " triple flange " thin stamped hoops that went on the Olympics and Beverleys a while into the 60's.
yours has the heavier stamped hoops with a tight inward furl at the top; they are much nicer to play, the drum looks better and there is less openness and ring. it plays more like the Premier version, which had cast hoops.
