Slingerland snare

Loading...

Hello All,

I am new to this forum and would like to know if I can get a little help determining the vintage, and the value, of my gold sparkle, 10 lug with stick savers, snare drum. By looking around on the site, I think it is around a 1960 vintage shell however the throw off/strainer does not add up to that era. I will try to get a picture of it up soon. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

i recently saw the first pic of a slingly wood 10 lug that i have ever seen. seems like it was an artist model. i could be wrong about that model though. i'm not up on slingy knowledge.

Sounds like it might be the #156 5.5x14 Artist snare drum, which did have 10 lugs. Not many around! Pictures will settle the mystery!
