Just getting started so pretty much everything. About to pull the trigger on a small Yaesu handset with tons of accessories here locally but will eventually need a bigger unit for home, possibly home/mobile unit. I`ll pm you my phone number so we can discuss. I`m a newb to it all but will be working on my lics. next month and operating by the ides of March.
Let me know what you may have and my collection is pretty much up for grabs as trade bait.

Guys, i'm going for my ticket sometime this year, but would like to buy a small transceiver NOW, so that I can listen to other Hams while I'm studying for the test.
What transciever would you recommend? It has to have 40 meters since I know there is alot to be heard on 40 m.
