if anyone out there know anything about Pearl making a smaller tom sorta like a 8 inch . double header ....

See i have a 1970s pearl drums .and i am sorta looking to see if Pearl ever made a 8 inch tom ..Not a concert tom ,Just a reg tom

No not that i know of.Pearl only made a 51/2x8 concert tom in the 70's....Mikey

Pearl might made a 6 inch tom ...

Not a 8 inch tom .......Man i wish some where that i could fine a 8 inch tom double header ....But i am looking needle in a hay stack ...i just bet they never did make a 8 inch tom ....

Pearl did make an 8" Tom with the Export Series.. Highly sought after down here. Just missed one earlier this year when the seller split an 8" & 10"..

I picked up the 10" for about 80 bucks & the 8" went for about 180..

Great sounding Tom.

Most of the Pearl Export kits were sold here with a 10" & 12" , hence the 8" became an obvious "add on".. Plus they are a deeper two header, thats why they are so hard to score..

that is why i got an 10 inch tom off ebay years ago ...so i could have a add on tom ....

I just don't like playing on a 5 piece kit ..to small ..

when o bough the 10 inch tom it wasn't the same wood or thickens at all

Little bit thinner then the drums i have now .

it's a expo tom .
