I know very little about Trixon but am always interested in adding another wood snare to the collection. This Trixon is only an hour drive away. Would $200 be a reasonable offer for this:

the snare is a 1965 1/440 square lugs with off white plastic
you can get the correct tension rods from the trixon website

Thanks so much for the expert opinion! I see from your collection you are definitely the Trixon authority.
$200 is a very good offer. I, personally would not go any higher.
An offer of 200.00 would be a great price for the drum i would go up to 250.00 for the drum..A few things to look at on the drum check the condition of the gray plastic pads that are on the lugs make sure they are not cracked. These are hard to fine to replace. The screw problem is fixable you would need to easy out the screw and put a new one in the lug. These Hex shape head screws are Metric thread....Mikey
so mchair303 did you make the offer and was it accepted...think you may need to move fast as i said previously it is on e bay..i think this is it !!!

Just sealed the deal! Got it for a very reasonable price after talking on the phone with the seller and realizing that we're both VDF members. Great guy. We naturally shared our basement inventories and trophies (now if I can just talk him into parting with his 1964 WMP Dynasonic!)
Since this is my first foray into the Trixon domain, you may see some "Help Me" questions popping up in the restoration posts.
