Loading...

I Just bought my first RK snare, and I wanted to ask the pro's a question. If I plan on playing this drum the heads and wires will need to be replaced, appear all original. will I devalue the drum if i replace these you recommend ? this is not a great pic but for now best I can do. any idea on what year she is?

keep the originals and get the heads u want and pure sounds it will snap

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I snapped a few more pics, the only flaw (it is in in fact a flaw) is the top hoop near the throw off has a ever so slight dip in it, not sure if that was part of the design? or???? maybe you can see it in the pics, can someone tell me what size pure sound wires I need ? I looked em up on line, many many sizes ..thanks
