Removing green texta

Loading...

From the inside of a Fullerton Rogers kit. All the shells have a name written in green texta (felt tip pen) inside. It's the speckled finish, which is in otherwise good condition. I would like to remove it, but only if it won't dissolve the finish. Worth trying? Thanks very much

Regards,

PK

You might want to try Grafitti-Remover spray. Motzenbocker's 'Lift-Off #4'. Google it.

I forgot to mention I'm in Australia, but fortunately because it's not pressurized I found it for sale here. Post 9/11 many smaller brands of chemicals/paints are no longer for sale in Australia.

Thanks John - you are always ready to help. Clapping Happy2

Hairspray in an aerosol can (Aquanet, etc.) will remove ink. You might want to test a small area to see that it doesn't affect the interior paint.
