Hollywood by Meazzi

Loading...

I just purchased a Hollywood by MEAZZI drumkit today.... the one on wheels. I got it at a fleamarket together with some old Paiste Stambul, Tosco and Zanchi Cymbals... and all that for an unbelievable price (100 Euros) :Santa: Walking

I will have to clean it and check if all the Parts are there. As i have never had one like this before, any help and advice is highly appreciated...

I'll post pics soon......

I almost had one of those about a year back. The seller refused to sell them for the price I won the auction for, so it didn't happen. They are really cool and really different. Congratulations on your new kit!

Thanks for the words guys...

I attached some pics of the kit as i got it today...

there is a crack in the wrap of the bass drum. any i deas how to fix that? just use some glue?

The wrap of the Floor tom is pretty worn. I see what i can to with some NOVUS....

The 1st tome looks ok, although all the HW needs a lot of elbow grease. I keep adding pics as i go along....

any comments on the pics are highly appreciated....

Yeah... some parts don't look right and quite a few are missing.

I found out, that all missing parts are really rare... so i guess i'll clean and put together what i have, and just enjoy :-)

thanks for the Snare offer, but i already have too many :-) mainly Ludwigs... might fit as well... ;-)

I have already started cleaning the 13". some scratches will be left, but it looks nice (i used NOVUS 2+1 polish). HW has some pitting... i'll post pics once it'S finished..

Any head suggestions? i was thinking Remo Ambassador coated as batter, and clear Diplomats as Resonant on toms, not sure about the kick batter though...
