Congrats to whomever got this one! i do hope it was one if us. That looks like a fairly uncommon wrap, more like Black Galaxy or Black Sparkle.

Actually, that looks like Contact Paper to me!!

Maybe thats why the BIN was so cheap. BUT, that would have been a nice set for a rewrap with some funky wrap. Sorry i didnt see it earlier!

I never could play a 12 inch mounted tom. Its just too small for the way I play. I need at least a 13. I've passed over a ton of sets at a good price b/c of a 12 inch tom.

I saw that one too, I thought it looked like it had been painted black. I am not a fan of metal bass drum hoops, but the chrome against that black looks kind of cool.

Many years ago, I saw an old used kit for sale in a music store that was a black wrap and had a chrome snare. The previous owner had actually put electrical tape all over the snare to make it match. Even as a high school kid at the time, I thought "Man, that's just stupid!".

For most of what we see, you can always trade out for a different sized tom. Don't be stifled, go get them and let's work out all the details later. I have a garage full of 13s. Come on my brother, give 'em life! Don't forget, you can always make a dollar by doing a cleaning. Don't let sizes stop you from buying a kit. There are always cheap, good kits on CL and we know what they are, not the "few and far between".

Keep an eye out, you will find that one matching tom and you can always sell off any unwanted goods.
