Wow! Happy! Lots o' info in a day!

So pleased, thanks guys!

Ok, so it's Red Grain Pearl... I like it as well... it's unique, and it has some optical qualities (if u see it from one angle some parts look red/white; change angle they look red/black.)

I got it for a little over $200... BUT, it included this: Zildjian 22':

So I guess it was worth it... main idea is to restore it, try it out, and then see if it’s worth keeping...

Thanks again everyone! Cheers!

PS: still looking for info on cymbal, if anyone knows anything... :D

Well, looks like you scored big on that purchase. That cymbal is worth a great deal. Any cracks or damage?

Sorry, my WMP kit, not the Pearls. I have a gorgeous early Star stencil of unknown origin or "name brand" and the sells, although nice, were old and getting brittle. I applied a maple veneer and they sing like nobodies business now. They ARE NOT the same thickness of shells. Mine are the older thin shells.

Old K. Take that pic to the cymbal section and you will get all you need to know, but it is worth a lot of $$$, if those scratches are only superficial. WOW, an old K is worth lots o jack, and a 22" at that. Can you get a weight on it? If a jazz weight, it could be worth more than $1,000.00, only because of the "cleanser marks"...
