Ok bunnyman now you got me in the spirit of the decoupage drum set . it's time for me to make a piece that people will spend some time looking them over and say i remember those things / or that day . but you will alway's have me beat on the attention getter with the hotties ;) . for the one's that may want try this the easy way to do the finish is the use of very thin clear plastic wrap , just like the photo posted of my son old concert tom . this way if you ever wanted to add or removed the pic's you can . and if you ever wanted to refinish the drums you can with ease , cause you will not have to remove layer's of shellac or automotive clear coat .

Yeah- I am doing shellac and lacquer, mainly because this will be an art drum kit. I haven't decided whether or not to censor the naughty bits. But the way I will do the covers and centrefolds, the audience would see covers when the kit is set up left-handed and the centrefolds will face the drummer.
Yeah- I'm THAT guy!!!

bunny hows it working out
April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Well, I have an old bass drum shell lying around and have used spray adhesive to tack the pics down. I haven't purchased any shellac as Lowe's is out right now. I plan on merely coating the pics and then burying them in a nitrocellulouse lacquer.
I will put pix on my blog.
