Oh, how could I forget that work? Electric Ladyland is a great album. Love Mitch. "De Lane Lea & Olymipic Outs" bootleg has some great Mitch drum sounds; probably remixed. Loved hunting down the Jimi-Boot's, back in the day. Good call.

Weirdly enough, I love the sound Ringo gets from the drum in the song "Come Together". Yeah, I could just play my kit with blankets and/or towels draped over them; but it was Ringo that got that sound out of them.

A few years ago,I saw the ORIGINAL COMETS,plus Wanda Jackson at Bimbos 365.That drummer was doing those rim shots(everything,just like on the records). It was fantastic.. The Comets still had it going on for sure! MME
