70's Acrolite Restoration (LOTS of PICS)

Loading...

Hey guys, this is my first post and thread on this forum! I purchased this acrolite on Tuesday as I've been wanting one for quite a while. The snare was not in very bad shape, but a lot of the chrome parts were rusty including tension rods, strainer, hoops, butt plate, as well as the shell being very dirty overall, I decided to put some work in to it and get it purdy looking.

I didn't take any before shots of the full snare, so here are the sellers photos. (note the dirty hoops, shell, strainer, etc.)

Polished the hardware, took a bunch of rust of the tension rods, throwoff, and butt plate.
