Slingerland Blue Agate kit for Rogers

Loading...

Hey,

I'm looking to trade my 68 Slingerland Blue Agate kit for a Rogers kit.

I'm specifically looking for a 22,13,16,matchingpowertonesnare in a nice silver glass, gold glass, or some sweet glass. The kit needs to be original with no extra holey goodness, please. It should also be complete with the tom holder and cymbal arm.

My kit ...

20,12,13,14f,16f,14matchingsnare, twin tom mount ...

the COB, pedal, stands, cymbals, ipad, carpet, rack, etc. do not transfer with this kit. Just the simple bass, toms, and matching snare.

Absolutely no fade on this kit. Chrome is freaky clean.

Serial Nrs.

20 bass - 225152

12 tom - 225147

13 tom - 231123

16 floor - 231877

14 floor - never had a badge

14 woodsnare - 210759

1. There is a very small area of snare rash on the 12 inch tom

2. There is a very small crack in the wrap under the actual bass spur.

3. One of the bass hoops was missing the inlay strip - I replaced it.

4. The 14 floor is from 65. Precision color/pattern matched it to the kit. Last pic shows the match of the 14 floor to the 12 tom. Stunning job. ALL OTHER WRAPS ARE ORIGINAL.

My kit is fairly well documented here, but I will answer pretty much any question thrown my way ... please don't ask about the cat.

Would consider selling it outright to an interested party.

Thanks.

Hey OS. Those drums are next to my Mahogany kit. I believe the Oak floor is on the top shelf. The natural maple toms are next to that. Here's a pic of the drum room.

It's all a mess today. I ordered the wrong heads (clear emps vice coated emps) to complete the natural Maple kit and the new Rogers kit just arrived from Steve's. I won't touch the Rogers kit until the Maple kit is completed. So, the room is a wreck. Anyway, there ya go. I guess it's a good problem to have. Ha ha ha ha.

I just hate to see any of my fellow forum members going through "any" types of problems.LoLoLoLo

I'd be more than happy to baby sit those natural maple toms for you just until your get that drum room of yours all straightened out. They'd be good company for my natural maple Slingy bass drum that's very lonely over here.

Wow, that is one sweet looking set of Red Glass Rogers! Clean and just stunning looking. I can imagine what they will look like under lights. And 20-12-14 to boot, nice score!

Thanks Jstix. Steve was the Perfect professional gentleman. He made the deal work. He made sure it came with the original matching snare, the Tom holder, and the cymbal arm. Unreal packing job. I've never seen anything like it.

I picked four of the Swivo stands (snare,Hihat, two cymbal) from a gent elsewhere for a song (145 for all).He was very good to deal with, too.

That kit will get a separate thread. It's an amazingly cool kit. It just came together so well for me.

I am looking for a nice Rogers rock kit. I'm hoping someone will appreciate the completeness of my Slingerland kit. It can be a large kit - 2 up 2 down, a regular rock kit - 12 13 up 16 down, a simple rock kit - 13 up 16 down, or a jazz kit - 12 up 14 down. It's very versatile.

Kit has been sold. I will trade a cat for the kit. It's declawed and if the noise bothers you, I'll have the purr motor taken out. Let me know if we can deal. I'm up all night and operators are standing by.

Kit has been sold.
