To clarify the following post in advance: I (member Ralf) was asked by Brian (member salty 1322) to help him publishing HIS (!!!) drumset here in the VDF Gallery - and I'm pleased to do him this favour.
Brian asked me to make the following post:
Hello everybody,
Today I'm pleased to present my kit, all made by STAR:
I have a 14"x14", marching snare from 1967, which I use as my main snare drum:

Furtheron I have a 14"x5" snare drum which I use as a tenor tom, two 13"x9" tenor toms (one has been added to the set), a 20"x15" bass drum and a 16"x16" floor tom. All of these drums are from around 1971. I also use a 16"x24" cocktail drum as a second floor tom. It is probably mid-sixties:

Toms, bass drum, floor tom and cocktail drum are wrapped in turquoise sparkle.
Here are some pics of the set in total:

I use Dixon hardware, although I still do have the original Star equipment.
I use Sabian and Zildjian cymbals and I play about twice a week with this kit. The marching snare and the cocktail drum are booming! The tenor/snare adds some variety.
I also have a set of bongos, probably mid-sixties ...

... and a tambourine in mint condition, in the original box.

Furtheron I have two extra Star snare drums in reserve as well (not shown in the pics).
Enjoy!
Brian
