Please help ..Zildjian 22 inch ride with rivets star and crecent moon

Loading...

Been a minute since ive visited the boards hope all is well with everyone.

I have the opportunity to buy a pdp x7 i think it is... 7 piece drumset that

comes with one cymbal but I havent a clue of the value of the cymbal ,.. I know its old but thats about it.. ugh. It has a crescent moon wrapped around a star, has rivets, one rivet is missing and the others are stuck in place or not moving... not sure if half the rivet is missing or what. Theres no cracks or keyhole in the cymbal... it looks and sounds great!!!

Ill be perfectly honest I havent much cash and may just flip the cymbal to try and get the drums cheaper and have them for a back up set.

I looked on ebay but dont c anything like it right now. I also looked around the web and c lot of crescent moon with star stamps but cant find this particular one, If i remember correctly I think the star is inside the crecent moon if that helps, I dont remember seeing made it turkey undernieth the moon logo.. it doesnt look like any of these stamps here at this site,, it appears newer.. http://www.robscott.net/cymbals/?page_id=157 I know these things are hard without u seeing it but my question is.. Whats the value or low end, high end price range if I were

to try and sell this cymbal?

I hate dealing with feebay so id prob be willing to sell it on the boards if anyone interested... Thanks for looking!

O.K., let's see now,.....a star around a crescent moon......

Well that narrows it down to just 25 to 30 trademarks of that kind that I can think of. So I guess were making some real progress here.

Is there a zildjian logo stamp timeline site that has all 25 to 30 trademarks you speak of?

No there sure isn't. So your best bet is to just get a picture of it.

And anything short of that is like taking shots in the dark hoping for a bulls eye.

K ... Thank You.

Stamps are very specific to brand and period. You also don't mention the weight of the cymbal. We would need that info plus a clear picture of the stamp to even begin to acess any value. The info you've provided so far is just too vague.

You have to post CLEAR not cell phone photos.Close up of the entire logo/stamps,as well a latheing, and weight if possible. You may have a valuable there,so you have to go the extra mile to get an accurate I.D.

Some collectable K's and Paiste's go for thousands of dollars.

Man... As Steve suggested. Get real good pictures and weight if possible. That's the only way any of us can possibly help you! I personally have over 60+ cymbals in my collection. I maybe interested in purchasing that cymbal. Good luck!!!!! "GROOVEMASTER69"
